Starting the year on the right foot

Hello Nightmareans.
After an analysis of what happened this year in Nightmare, we came to the conclusion that the obligation of using the Nightmare "own" game client has not inhibited the use of bots in the game.
This led us to make the decision to liberate the use of the Tibia Client + IP Changer to play on Nightmare game servers.
The use of any type of bot is still forbidden in Nightmare and the punishment for anyone caught using it still the immediately deletion of the account.
The liberation of the use of Tibia Client + IP Changer to play on Nightmare game servers will occur in the server save of 01/01/2012. From that date it will be no longer possible to play on Nightmare game servers using the current Nightmare game client. To continue playing you will need a Tibia Client version 8.7 and an IP Changer, or the new Nightmare game client.
The links to download our new game client, Tibia Client 8.7 and a reliable IP Changer will be available soon.

In addition to this change, from the server save of 01/01/2012, both Nightmare game servers (Exodus and Vetus) will have DOUBLE EXP, enjoy!

Maintenance

In the tomorrow's server save, at 07:00 AM (BRST/UTC-2), there will be an internal maintenance on the server where the Nightmare game servers are hosted.
It is expected that maintenance will last one hour and that the two servers will be back online at 08:00 AM.
In addition to the maintenance, there will be some bug fixes on Exodus.

Merry Christmas

The Nightmare Team wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a great new year filled with health, peace and much happiness. In 2012 many new features await you here in Nightmare!
As a Christmas gift, we will give three 100 days VIP Premium in each world of Nightmare. To participate, just leave the nickname and the world (or Vetus Exodus) of your character in the comments.
The draw will be held Sunday (25/12) at 19:00 in Vetus and at 21:00 in Exodus. It will only be valid the participation of those who put the data in the comments until 17:00 of Sunday and are online at the time of the draw.

We are back

Hello Nightmareans! Its been a while since the last news post, we would like to apologize for that.
We were very busy with college and other personal matters, but that does not justify this abandonment. So this holiday season, plus some planned updates, we will perform some actions to ensure that the Nightmare won't be "abandoned" again. The main changes are listed below:
Promote Gamemasters, Community Managers and Tutors. This is not an easy task, but the situation on Nightmare is unsustainable without someone to enforce and punish who is not complying with the rules, especially during the lessons when we can not devote so much to the Nightmare.
Raids and other events will become more automated. With the creation of weekly and monthly events the game will be more fun and interactive. Global events can also be created, involving both Vetus and Exodus worlds.
Automatic activation of VIP Premiums. This is another common complaint in our forum, the delay in the activation of VIP Premium. With the new system the VIP Premiums be automatically released as soon as payment is confirmed.
These are the main points that need to be improved, we are open to other suggestions in the comments.
Within a few days we will post information about the updates that we will have this holiday season, stay tuned!

Scheduled maintenance

On next Sunday (09/18) there will be a maintenance in the datacenter where Nightmare is hosted aiming improvements in network infrastructure.
The maintenance will start at 05:00 UTC of Sunday, finishing at 13:00 UTC.
During this maintenance the players may experience higher latency and packet loss. Therefore, all players must avoid dangerous places during this period.
